Irina Timush's long-term activity in the scientific and educational field is devoted to the study of a wide range of legal issues. She is the author of more than 200 professional publications. Under her leadership, 7 graduate students were defended.
She received two higher educations: she graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a degree in law (2001) and the National Pedagogical University named after M. Drahomanov with a qualification of a practical psychologist (2002). In 2005 she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law in the specialty "Civil Law and Procedure; family law; Private International Law ”at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2008 she was awarded the academic title of associate professor of civil law. In 2011, IS Timush presented the results of a study on "Conceptual principles of integration of modern jurisprudence" at the National Academy of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and received a doctorate in "Philosophy of Law".
Iryna Serhiivna devoted the period from 2003 to 2017 to work at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Psychology of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, where she continued her professional growth - from teacher to head of department.
In 2017, IS Timush worked as a professor at the Department of Civil Law, head of the Department of Civil Law at the Tavriya National University named after VI Vernadsky. From 2018 she continued her research and teaching activities at the Educational and Scientific Law Institute, and then at the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University. In 2020-21 she headed the department of economic, air and space law at the Faculty of Law at the National Aviation University, in the development of which he is still making efforts.
In 2019 she was elected by the general meeting of the Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Ukraine as an Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Ukraine.
Iryna Serhiivna has experience in advocacy. As a scientist and lawyer, he also implements his knowledge and skills in public activities for the benefit of his compatriots, protecting the rights of socially vulnerable groups. In 2019, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church awarded Timush IS Order of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara.
