In order to increase legal awareness and legal culture of future lawyers, familiarize them with activity of judicial authorities of Ukraine, April 29, 2014 1st year students of the Law Institute, accompanied by docent of Department of Theory and History of State and Law Victoria Zueva and senior lecturer Ludmila Shapenko visited the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine.
During the excursion students learned about the system of administrative courts of Ukraine, forms and features of the 4 special judicial chambers of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine, the responsibilities of judges and court departments, the use of automated systems «Docflow of specialized court» and learn about the history of formation of administrative justice in Ukraine. After looking at courtrooms and offices that provide the judicial chambers, a conference hall and other rooms future lawyers received detailed information about the specifics of the judiciary in the administrative area. The culmination of the excursion program was visiting the library and museum in which students examined the existing library collection, unique museum exhibits and known stages of the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine. Cognitive excursions conducted by legal institutions play an important role in training future lawyers, as they allow to get an idea and knowledge of the activities of the judiciary, as well as understand the lawyer's role in the formation of law. Such Cognitive excursions are conducted by Law Institute play an important role in training future lawyers, since they can generate ideas and get knowledge about the activities of the judiciary, and understand the lawyer's role in the formation of law.
