February 18, 2014 in Law Institute granted guest - Canadian, photojournalist, known cartoonist, explorer of history of Holodomor of Ukrainian nation Victor - Illia Glazko.
The event, which was attended by students of 1st year Law Institute, was held in the form of a discourse on "Drawing attention to the global community on the famine in Ukraine". During the meeting, a presentation of the movie "Unknown hunger", which was established by Mr. Victor and his colleague Taras Gukalo in 1983. The film is accompanied by stories of Ukrainian - witness those events and research doctors in Western countries about unusual hunger - the deliberate creation, holocaust lie within the Kremlin clique. Especially the students remember the words of Nina Strokata, Ukrainian human rights activist, who at the time was seven years old. She was born in Odessa region, and now lives in Canada. Nina Strokata focused on the fact that Ukraine 30 years was regarded as a colony, so decided to save the Russians from starvation by taking away the bread in Ukrainian. I could also excite the story of Marko Carynnyk on how to hide the truth about the famine. After watching the movie Victor – Illia Glazko raised for discussion with the student audience and questions concernined the causes of famine and its consequences. In conclusion, the students agreed with the words of the guest - Canadians that the 1932-1933 famine - it is a national tragedy that has affected everyone, so our task is to convey all the truth about the Holodomor.
