On the 15th of November in 2013 the associate professor, Ph.D of the Department of theory and history of state and law of the Law institute Natalya Pylhun and the 4th year student Kate Siruk with the 11th year study pupils of the Secondary school № 124 in Kiev had the meeting.
The reason to discuss about the theme “Prevention of racist and xenophobic manifestations among young people” is the very big increase of these asocial phenomena among youth and the low level of legal understanding of the young generation . During the event the problem of the racial and ethnical conflicts in Ukraine, manifestations of xenophobia and youth “informal” movements were discussed in details. Particular attention was paid on the skinhead ideology, according to which they “help” to “remove immigrational rubbish” in Ukraine. The topicality of the event is to prevent criminal offenses and misconducts that is the main direction of the state and the community. At the end of the meeting the opportunity to view the documentary about the skinheads activity in Ukraine was given to the senior pupils, which became the effective preventive method to prevent offences.
