December 20, 2012 in Law Institute held a contest "Most intelligent freshman 2012." For the seventh consecutive year, conducted intellectual contest between freshmen in order to identify among them the most erudite, curious and knowledgeable students which organized by the Student Council of Law Institute with the support of primary trade union committee NAU and directorate.
The competition consisted of three rounds, in which took part 11 freshmen. They were supported the applause of classmates, senior students, mentors and teachers. The jury consisted of the director of Law Institute Iryna Sopilko, deputy director of the educational-methodological work of Vadim Vyshnovetskoho, deputy director of work with the students Nina Trotsyuk, head of the department of Theory and History of State and Law Ivan Borodin, Associate professor of department the Theory and History of State and Law Natalie Pylgun. In the first round held the variable polls, in which was assessed students' knowledge from the theory and history of law, constitutional law, Latin language, history of Ukraine. In the second round came six students, and to the finals came only 3 of them, which in the third final round gave express-answers in questions of "Mythology", "Cinema", "Ukrainian language". During fierce fighting the competition was won Alina Tkachenko (Group PR-105), second place Christine Zabiyaka (Group PR-101), third place Natalia Yatsevych (Group PR-105). The culmination of the competition was the presentation the winner of the cup, which according to tradition was the transition from year to year, and of course diplomas and gifts.
