November 2-4, 2012 at the initiative of the Chairman of the Trade Union Bureau of Law Institute of Mary Roshchuk and accompanied by a mentor of PR-202 Iryna Slobidska held excursion for students of 2nd year to one of the most beautiful and mysterious cities of Europe - Lviv.
Lviv City as an economic and cultural center of the Western Ukraine founded in the middle of XIII century Prince Danylo Galuzkum in honor of his son Lev. The historic city center of Lvov is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site and in 2009 he was awarded the title of Cultural Capital of our country. During the excursions students visited the most amazing and original monuments of national cultural center of Ukraine: Museum "Arsenal", "Pharmacy Museum", museum "Lychakiv cemetery", the residence of the Lviv City Council - Lviv city Hall, Jesuit Church, Dominican Church, the Cathedral of St. Yura, Armenian Church, High Castle, monuments of T.G. Shevchenko, Daniel Galitsky, Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, Lviv brewers, Adam Mickiewicz. Exactly in the Lviv City architecture combines different styles and epochs: Gothic and Baroque, Renaissance and Romanesque style, Empire and Rococo, modern eclecticism and constructivism. The culmination of the excursions was visiting the "Chocolate Workshop" and Lviv coffee houses where everyone had the opportunity to taste the most delicious chocolate and coffee.
