On February 02, 2018 a conversation was held on the theme “Problems of juvenile delinquency” by Senior Lecturer of Commercial, Air and Space Department of Educational and Research Institute of Law Iryna Slobodska at Gymnasium of International Relations No. 323 with in-depth study of English in Kyiv.
During the conversation, the pupils have been informed about the disappointing statistics of juvenile delinquency and the consequences they could lead to. Offences committed by minors are a dangerous social phenomenon. Teenagers always have a desire to become independent, try something new, go in a new, interesting state. But they can take risks, especially when they are out of the attention of their parents. The pressure of peers, boredom, uncontrollable energy, and possibly other factors influencing behavior, for example, use of beer ... can lead to unjustified risk and even cost life. Having disobedience once, it is very easy then to commit a more serious misconduct. "A human is not born a criminal, but becomes him through certain life circumstances," said Iryna Slobodska at the end of the meeting.
