On December 7-8, 2017, a roundtable on the topic "Prevention of juvenile delinquency" took place at the secondary school №72 and the secondary school № 230 in Kyiv, with the participation of Professor of the Department of Commercial, Air and Space Law Valentina Kozyreva and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Law of the fourth year of studying - Anastasia Baz, Julia Galayko, Alina Kondra.

«Prevention of juvenile delinquency is primarily a pedagogical problem because it involves solving a certain range of educational tasks. Therefore, in this case, a special place should be taken by early prevention, which should be held in school», - said Valentina Kozyreva during the opening of events.
After holding the roundtable in general education institutions of I-III levels, the participants identified certain measures of legal education directed at the prevention of offences, namely:
• providing legal knowledge by teachers during the teaching of certain subjects;
• conducting quizzes, thematic lessons for schoolchildren;
• conducting meetings with law enforcement officers, which may take place at the place of
study of children or at the workplace of National Police officers.
