11 December 2017 in the Educational-scientific Institute of law held a traditional contest "the Smartest freshman - 2017".
The competition consisted of three rounds, in which took part 12 of the freshmen, namely: Anton Bykov (PR-104), Ivan Mustuk (PR-104), Yuri Begich (PR-103), LudmilaKolesnichenko (PR-103), Marina Concava (PR-101), Victoria Vova (PR-101), GlebGrabovsky (PR-105), Andrew Dromashko (PR-102), VladislavIlchenko (PR-105), Oleg Dovgal (PR-104), Irene Lytchik (PR-102), Ekaterina Kuts (PR-102). Students were evaluated by a competent jury composed of: Chairman Irina Sopilko – Director of Educational-scientific Institute of law, doctor of law, of associate Professor, Professor of Department of constitutional and administrative law, as well as members of the jury: RostislavKalyuzhny – the person responsible for scientific and methodical work, doctor of law, Professor, Department of theory and history of state and law, Nina Trotsuk – those responsible for educational work, candidate of law, associate Professor of civil law and process, OlenaMakeieva – senior mentor, associate Professor of theory and history of state and law. In the first round the jury by variable survey assessed the students ' knowledge on the theory and history of state and law, constitutional law, history of Ukraine. According to the results of the first round in the second round of petropolise 6 freshmen (Anton Bykov, LudmilaKolesnichenko, Victoria Vova, Andrey Dromashko, Oleg Dovgal, Ekaterina Kuts), and in the final got only 3 of them (LudmilaKolesnichenko, Victoria Vova, Oleg Dovgal), which in the third final round gave rapid answers to the questions in the categories of "Secret", "Ukrainian and foreign literature", "History of Ukraine". In the course of persistent struggle the victory was won by: first place – LudmilaKolesnichenko (group PR-103), second place – Victoria Vova (group PR-101), third place –Oleg Dovgal (group PR-104).
