On December 4, 2017, a regular meeting of the Center for Mediation was held at the Training and Research Law Institute, during which topics were discussed: "December 1 - World AIDS Day", "International Human Rights Day".
The participants of the meeting were carefully prepared for their speeches, as evidenced by their substantive reports. Anastasiya Moskvina (PR-201) described the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) as a particularly dangerous infectious disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and provided interesting statistics on its distribution in Ukraine by region and in the world. "The massive spread of this disease poses a threat to personal, public and state security, causing severe socio-economic and demographic consequences, which necessitates the adoption of special measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and society," the student said. Diana Pustovoyt (PR-301) revealed the history of the International Human Rights Day, launched on the proposal of the UN General Assembly, marking the anniversary of the adoption by the Assembly of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. In her report, the student revealed the international and national human rights standards in Ukraine. Such measures form a healthy way of life for young people, since under the current conditions the spiritual potential is reduced, there is a need to implement informational and educational measures, which is an important direction in the activity of the higher elementary institutions of modern Ukraine.
