November 29, 2017 senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and the Process of the Educational and Research Institute of Law Alisa Logvinenko conducted career guidance work with pupils of the 11th form of secondary school №253 in Kiev in the form of a legal lecture on "Legal education of youth in modern conditions" and pupils 10-11 class of secondary school № 26 in Kiev on "Counteracting the child trafficking".
Legal education is an important part of the ideological, political and moral education of citizens. The purpose of legal education of youth is the formation of her legal culture of a citizen of Ukraine, which primarily involves a conscious attitude to their rights and obligations to society and the state, enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine. It is of great importance to have deep respect for the laws and rules of human communication, readiness to observe and fulfill the requirements enshrined in them, to express the will and interests of the people, to actively participate in the management of public affairs. "In the modern world, human trafficking is one of the most massive violations of human rights and freedoms. Globalization on a global scale, growing interdependence and interconnectedness of states, uneven socio-economic development of individual regions of the world caused unprecedented spread in the late 20th century. such a shameful and inhuman phenomenon as human trafficking, " noted Alisa Logvinenko. In the course of conducting legal lectures, the main directions of improving the legal education of young people were also discussed, because due to legal education, the young person should develop an internal need to live and act in accordance with the rules of law, to adhere to the rules of human communication and the requirements of Ukrainian laws.
