On November 20, 2017, under initiative of the constitutional and administrative law department and support of the director of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute Iryna Sopilko, there took place a meeting of staff of the department and 1-5 year students of the Institute with the professor of the Pomorska Academy in Slupsk (Republic of Poland), doctor of sciences in state administration, professor Volodymyr Striltsiv.
Importance of the event was grounded by signing of bilateral agreement on cooperation between the National Aviation University and the Pomorska Academy, which is a signatory of the programme Erasmus+ (Erasmus Code PL SLUPSK01). Value of this agreement consists of creation of cooperation of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute of NAU with a European higher educational establishment in order to introduce the Programme ERASMUS+ in the sphere of higher education in the Institute. Professor Volodymyr Striltsiv reported to those who were present about opportunities of beginning of joint work under the programme of exchange of students and suggested that students of the Institute and its Administration joined mentioned programme from the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year. Main advantage of this programme for 2-5 year students is an opportunity of free of charge study (at the expense of funds of the Pomorska Academy) during 4 months in a European higher educational establishment. According to the results of the meeting students got information about peculiarities of selection and study in the Pomorska Academy, and Direction of the Institute and professor Volodymyr Striltsiv outlined main measures for realization of the Programme of exchange of students and other vectors of international cooperation on preparation of specialists in the sphere of law.
