June the 7th, 2017 the first-year students of Education and Research Institute of Law accompanied by an assistant of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Liudmyla Shapenko visited museum MIA of Ukraine National Academy of Internal Affairs.
The event was held as part of the professional practice with purpose to show the future lawyers the peculiarities activities of Ukrainian`s law enforcement system, its role in state building process, public order and combating crime. Students’ attention was paid to collections of weapons and firearms counterfeit money and documents, different instruments, by which they were made, exposure of special equipment, materials resonant criminal cases, evidence and a unique collection of uniform. Viewing the exhibition in the museum of documentary materials allow students to deepen their student`s knowledge of the history of the organization and law enforcement of Ukraine from Kievan Rus’ to the present day, understand the complexity and responsibility of police officers.
