On May 9, 2017, on the occasion of celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second World War, the members of the Student Council of the Educational and Research Institute of Law visited the Memorial of Eternal Glory, where the leaders of the state laid flowers.
At the festival of joy and sorrow, several thousand people of the city of Kiev gathered to pay tribute to those who during the Second World War gave their lives, shed blood for their Motherland. The students, together with the present, honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the meter-high granite monument at the foot of which the Eternal Flame burns. "The glory of the heroes will never fade away, like the Eternal Flame, from which we laid flowers, paying tribute and respect to the people for whom we now live in our native land," said the Chairperson of the Student Council of the Institute, Tatiana Lukashenko.
