April 21, 2017, the scientific and practical seminar «Prevention of violent criminality (criminological aspect)» was held it the Educational and Research Institute of Law, where students creative works on the relevant topic were presented.
The event was attended by: Borys Leonov - leading researcher of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Expertise of the SBU, Doctor of Law, Professor; Natalia Yarmysh - senior lecturer, Procurator's Training Department for Supervision over the Observance of Laws in Enforcement of Judgments in Criminal Proceedings of the National Academy of the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor; Sergiy Kirenko - Associate Professor of the Department of Law of the Kyiv National Linguistic University, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Maksym Lyskov - Judge of the Economic Court of Kiev, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Olga Bespal is a competitor of the chair of Criminology and Criminal Executive Law of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. With a salutatory word to the audience addressed the Doctor of Law, Professor Sofia Lykhova, who in her speech revealed the relevance of the topic of the seminar and proposed to hold it in a new format, which consisted in presentation by students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of their creative works (drawings, reports, own poetry). Evaluated the students performances by an independent jury, which included invited guests. After the speeches of the students, the floor was given to the guests who shared their vision of problems related to the prevention of violent crime. The culmination of the event was the awarding of students who presented their creative work, won prizes: Atamanchuk Tetyana, Taran Diana, Godzinskyi Denis. All the other participants are thanked.
