The student of group PR-304 Marina Ridwan, in its report revealed the history of the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated annually on February 21 and she told about the basic traditions associated with its celebration. Anastasia Frankivsk (group PR-304), outlined the legal basis of the language issue in Ukraine. During the presentation students meeting between the parties was a lively discussion of the law which found its consolidation in the draft law №5670 "On state language" that is registered January 19, 2017 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. After all, this bill provides for mandatory use of the Ukrainian language in the media, film industry and higher education. Violation of rules, MPs who are the authors of the bill propose to impose penalties. In addition, the bill provides for the introduction of the post of language inspector who will monitor compliance with the standards of the state language and the use of Ukrainian as the state language. Student of group PR-304 Eugene Nestula completed the session interesting presentational work. In today's conditions is very important that every institution of higher education has become a student center for the formation of true patriotic Ukrainian, which should not only understand the greatness and beauty of their native language, but also to protect and nurture it, develop Ukraine as a sovereign, independent, democratic, legal and the welfare state.
