On November 28, 2016, students of groups PR-503M, PR-502M of Education and Research Institute of Law Valeriya Yakunenko, Liudmyla Takadzhi, Tatiana Sirochenko, Yulia Loboda, Armine Manukian together with Associate Professor of Department of Theory and History of State and Law of Education and Research Institute of Law Victoria Cherevatiuk conducted the lesson from Conflictology for the 9-11th year pupils of Secondary School № 174 and № 26 Solomiansky district in Kyiv.
It is well known that the legal profession is multifaceted. Practical experience and skills are the important parts of a lawyer’s professional level. The ability to resolve conflicts of various types is included to the mentioned above. An idea to make the lesson "Preventing and resolving pedagogical and family conflicts" was given by the students who wanted to implement their theoretical knowledge gained during the study of the discipline "Conflictology" in practice. The pupils got the information about the main reasons of conflicts, ways to prevent and solve them. During the event the senior pupils have been actively involved in discussion and solution of situational problems, prompting them to seek ways out of the conflicts, and the students demonstrated their ability to use the necessary tools, quickly and correctly navigate in real conflict situations. In those forms of practical application of theoretical knowledge students’ self-determination is appeared, the initiative, ability to think critically, to adequately estimate their own capabilities is revealed, make decisions and provide the necessary guidance how to solve problems arising from conflicts.
