On November 25-26th, 2016 the European University held XII Ukrainian Law School on Justice on theme: “Implementation and Prospects of Judicial Reform” attended by student of the Educational and Research Law Institute - Andriana Zhabyak.
During two days participants of the Law School took part in master classes of leading judges of various areas of judiciary and legal practitioners, namely: Nataliya Marchuk, a judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, Vasyl Yurchenko – the retired judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine, Bogdan Kushnir – the Director of the Second Kyiv local center of free secondary legal assistance, Olga Doduh – a senior lawyer of JSC “Yuskutum”, Vitalii Odzhykovskyi - a lawyer, senior adviser of “KM Partners”, Stanislav Batryna – the Head of the NGO “Open Ukraine” (leader of “Open Court” project), Director of LC “ions Litigate”, Dmytro Fedorenko – a lawyer, managing partner of JSC “Advocate Company “Artseo”. While talking with students practitioners shared their experiences, discussed problems and prospects of legal practice and judiciary in Ukraine, revealed the secrets of how to work with clients, etc. At the end of the event participants were asked to participate in modelling of court proceedings under unknown subject matter. Training at the Law School greatly increases the professionalism and competitiveness of the law students who have always actively participated in such events.
