"Parkommuna. Location. The community. The phenomenon" is the result of long work PinchukArtCentre Research Platform Team. This exhibition explores the work of artists who were somehow related to the squat "Parkommuna" rather with the area Street of the Paris Commune (now - St. Michael's.), Where there were squats and artists' studios (1989 - 1994). In historical perspective, the exhibition raises the question about the meaning of a place for the formation of communities of artists, community interaction and communication with the foreign cultural environment. Walking through one of the largest centers for contemporary art in Europe, the future lawyers watched brought to their attention works of art, photographs, videos and archival materials relating to the life and work of artists such as Alexander Gnilitskiy Oleg voice, Dmitry Kavsan, Alexander Klimenko, Yuri Solomko, Valeria Trubina Basil Tsaholov and many others. Visiting exhibitions by students in their free time is an integral part of the youth culture of young people, and work with classical and contemporary art - is an integral part of comprehensive development of the individual.
