On December 22 in 2015 year at Educational and Research Institute of Law held a competition in rhetoric “Judicial debats – 2015”, organized by assistant professor of theory and history of law Svetlana Golovko.
The abilities and skills acquired in the process of mastering the course “rhetoric” and an integral part of the professional competence of the future expert in law, students demonstrated publicly 2nd year ERIL. The real stars that shine in the sky of the institute through their oratorical talents were students-winners in the following nominations: “The best speech”: the role of the judge – Victoria Poberezhnyuk (group 201); as a lawyer of the defendant – Alexander Kovtun (group 205); as the plaintiff's lawyer – Yarina Semeniuk (group 201); as the defendant – Vladislav Kalin (group 202); as the plaintiff – Catherine Prokoliyko (group 201); as witnesses – Arnela Crook and Thaisia Puhtiy (group 201); “Master image”: the role of the Secretary – Tatiana Klim (group 202); as administrator – Nazar Protskov (group 202); “Naykomunikabelnishyy speaker”: the role of the respondent – Artem Litvinov (group 201). Victory in the category “spectator sympathies” won the team of the 201. Among the three teams participating in the contest the prizes are next: the third place was a group of 202, the second place received a group 205 and the victory celebrating a group 201. To participate in the exciting action were involved in leading scientific and teaching staff who are extremely efficiently and impartially worked in jury chaired by the Director of the Institute Irina Sopilko. The presented proceedings in contest showed the high level of theoretical and practical preparative of its members, a special creative atmosphere, which was formed in institute and signalise sincere emotions, novelty and originality of thought, the art of oratory.
