November 30, 2015 at Educational and Research Law Institute met students from preventive coordinator of the International NGO "toe A 21 Compaign» Valentina Ushakova.
International NGO "toe A 21 Compaign» stands for the abolition of injustice in the twenty-first century. Its main objectives are: to prevent human trafficking; to support and protect victims of trafficking; to bring perpetrators to justice and to strengthen legal measures against the trafficking in persons; partnership with law enforcement agencies, service providers and the public to create a broad front of struggle against human trafficking. During a lecture on "Current problems of guaranteeing gender equality in the prevention of trafficking and to combat it" reviewed and discussed the normative guarantee gender equality in Ukrainian legislation, measures to prevent human trafficking around the world and in Ukraine, particularly given the global statistics trafficking forms of exploitation, hidden risks and provided basic tips that everyone should know that traveled abroad to study, work or relax. At the end of active sessions held fruitful discussion on gender equality and practical preventive work to combat human trafficking.
