On the 26th of November in 2014 the Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of Law Institute Natalia Pylhun and the 2nd year student Tatiana Datsenko had the meeting with the senior pupils of the Specialized school № 124 in Kyiv on the theme "Prevention of offences among pupils".
The event was held to prevent offences among young people, where the basic principles include: the principle of humanity, justice and equity. The next questions were discussed at the meeting: development of skills and habits of lawful behavior among pupils, ability to navigate in the environment, development of pupils’ active role in the legal field that includes intolerant attitude to offences, the desire to participate in fight against these negative phenomenon, and the ability to withstand the negative impact of environment. The event has socio-cultural value because the preventive activity takes place the primary place in prevention of offences in the Ukrainian society. The expected results of the meeting are to form the healthy lifestyles among young people, give knowledge that will help to make the right choice in any life situations.
