PhD, Associate Professor, Judge of Constitutional Court of Ukraine Michael Kolos read problem lecture on the topic: «National traditions in the legal system of Ukraine» on the 21 of October 2014 for magisters, students of 4 course Low Institute and graduates Secondary School №26, №166.
During the lecture, the youth received information about the legal sources in Ukraine, which laid the foundation of the legal doctrine of the domestic law of Ukraine (Lithuanian Statutes, Ryska Pravda etc. ). Michael Kolos has said that today, when the European Union and Ukraine ratified the Association Agreement, especially important is the preservation of the national legal tradition , which has deep roots from the times of Kyivska Rus. At the same time it is necessary to ratify the norms of criminal law in line with European standards. This meeting has enriched the students with new knowledge in the field of criminal law, and high school graduates had the opportunity to live one day at a student's life and communicated with the professors and lecturers of the Low Institute.
