October 22, 2014 in Law Institute was held a roundtable discussion on "The Role of Student Government in the development of the individual student and HEI activity".

The meeting was attended by teachers, representatives of student government, primary trade union organizations of the National Aviation University, Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine, Kyiv University of Law of Ukraine, Kiev University. Shevchenko and criminal-executive service.
The round table discussed such issues as: Student Government universities: problems and prospects; primary trade union organization of undergraduate and graduate students as a guarantor of the protection of socio-economic rights of students; student representative body (parliament, council) as an institution of the student government; forms of co administration of a higher education institution with the student community; interaction of trade union, CCA and administration in higher education.
The participants also discussed a number of other issues that are now concerned about the students. They understand that the student government is necessary for young people studying at the university, because it is - practical school for those who want to try their hand at head, administrator, leader.
Conducting such activities help to activate students' assets in the activities of the university, their impact on the thoughts and attitudes of the average student, and the student government interaction with the administration of higher education. We hope to further active cooperation of different institutions of higher education, the organization of joint projects and believe that together we can succeed.
