September 22 the whole of Ukraine according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine celebrates the Day of Partisan Glory. On the eve of the national holiday, September 18, 2014 the students of the PR-202 of the Law Institute, along with mentor Julia Iurynets visited the National Historical and «Babyn Yar».During the tour, the future lawyers learned about the origin of the name «Babyn Yar», which became a place of mass executions of civilians by the German occupiers, underground, and other partisans during the German occupation of Kiev in 1941-1943, received information about the guerrilla groups that operated during the Great World War II, the heroic exploits of their peers, who fought against the invaders on a par with senior colleagues, showing unprecedented heroism and resistance, causing fear and uncertainty among the enemy, who had come to seize our people.
