Every year in May Ukraine celebrates the Day of Science. This is a great holiday of the innovative ideas and discoveries that scientists present to us. Traditionally, Law Institute holds the National Scientific Conference for Science Day. And this year conference took place on the 22nd of May.
During the opening ceremony Vladimir Kharchenko – Vice-Rector for Research of the National Aviation University, PhD, professor and Iryna Sopilko – Director of the Law Institute, PhD, professor, addressed with the welcome words to the guests and participants of the conference. Also they expressed the hope for the new progressive thinking of the young scientists that will help to solve a number of problems in various areas of law. The famous scientists, among them were Natalia Onishchenko - Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, academician of NALS of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Theory of State and Law Koretskiy Institute of State and Law, NAS Ukraine; Ivan Golosnichenko - Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Commercial and Administrative Law, Faculty of Sociology and Law NTU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"; Vitaly Hatselyuk - Doctor of Law, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement; Jaroslav Melnyk - Doctor of Law, Doctoral of the Institute of Legislation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Armen Nersesian - Doctor of Law, Senior Research Fellow, Koretsky Institute of State and Law, NAS Ukraine, attorney; Natalia Novitska - Doctor of Law, Senior Research Fellow of the National Expert Commission of Ukraine on protection of public morals; Rostislav Kalyuzhniy - Doctor of Law, Professor, Deputy Director for Science of the Law Institute, also presented their reports on the plenary session of the conference and shared their achievements in developing Ukrainian jurisprudence and achievements in the field of law with the students and young scientists. Overall, the conference was attended by 283 scientists presented 21 educational institution of the 14 regions of Ukraine and 11 institutions and organizations engaged in the practice of law.
