On the 28th of April in 2014 the 1st year students of the Law Institute, accompanied by the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Iryna Tymkovych according to the plan of the professional practice, visited the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
The excursion was conducted with the aim to give the information about the features of functioning of the single body of constitutional jurisdiction in Ukraine the students. The purpose of this Court is to guarantee the supremacy of the Constitution of Ukraine as the Basic Law of the state on its territory. During the event students learned about the authorities, organization and activities of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. Examining the courthouse: the lobby, the conference room, the press center and museum exhibitions, the future lawyers received full information about the history of development, legal framework and international relations of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, objectives and functions of the Secretariat of the Court. The exursions to the state institutions traditionally organizes by the Law Institute for the students-lawyers are the form of educational process. They have great developmental and educational value because they increase the cognitive activity of youth, encouraged to explore and consolidate new knowledge, form the extremely high liability of lawyer at work for the state and the citizens.
