March 25, 2014 the students of PR -403 group of Law Institute visited the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko in Kiev, which was established on the basis of the former Gallery of Shevchenko pictures in Kharkov and the Central State Museum of Taras Shevchenko in Kiev in 1949.
The tour had a tremendous emotional and spiritual experience for the audience, as the museum's collection consists of unique values: original painting works Taras Shevchenko, documents about his life and work, handwritten list of his poetry, rare photographs of the poet and his friends, incunabula works of Taras Shevchenko with his autograph, almost all the editions of the poet and literature about it, starting with the in vivo and to modern domestic and foreign publications. Permanent exhibition of the museum covers 16 rooms and consists of about 2 thousand exhibits. Its concept was developed in the early 80's by research team in conjunction with the museum's renowned artists, designers, A. Gaydamaka and V. Solodov on the subject and biographical basis. Events before the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko directed not only to preserve the memory of the poet, but on patriotic education of youth and cultural enrichment of the residents of Ukraine.
