On the 18th of March in 2014 the scientific-methodical seminar "Actual problems of teaching history and theory of law in law universities" was at the Law Institute.
The purpose of the event was to address questions that arise in teaching of theoretical and historical legal disciplines through the optimization of educational process in conditionns of formation of the informative society, the expansion of international relations and Ukraine's access to the Bologna Process. The presentations were made by Svetlana Bobrovnyk – the Professor of the Department of Theory of Law and State of the Law Department of the Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko, Dr. Sc. (Law), the Professor Stanislav Husaryev - Head of the Department of Theory of State and Law of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Dr. Sc. (Law), the Professor Andriy Beykun – the Senior Research Fellow of the Research Laboratory of the legal support troops (forces) of the National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovskyj, Cand. Sc. (Law), the Associate Professor, Grygoryj Potapov – the Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of State and Law of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Cand. Sc. (Law), the Associate Professor, Vera Ryndyuk – the Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the University of Law of NAS of Ukraine, Cand. Sc. (Law), Olga Minchenko – the Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Cand. Sc. (Law), the Associate Professor, Volodymyr Bukach – the Associate Professor of the Department of General Law disciplines of the Education and Research Institute of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Cand. Sc. (Law), the Associate Professor. As a result of the discussion the participants of scientific and methodological seminar concluded to improve the efficiency of training classes on legal disciplines by implementation of innovative technologies, combination of classical and modern legal doctrines in the teaching process, increase the value of self education activities of students, taking into account of psychological features of every individual student.
