March 15, 2014 Student Group PR-101, PR-102, PR-201, PR-402 of Law Institute with mentors Anfisa Nashynets - Naumov, Tymkovych Irina, Oksana Myronets visited the National Museum of Ukrainian Folk Art, located in the National Reserve Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. The event was held to promote among students the creative heritage of the great artist of Ukraine Taras Shevchenko.
During the excursion, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition "Art Shevchenko" dedicated momentous date - the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian poet and artist Taras Shevchenko. Exhibits the museum's collection included a large number of works of the twentieth century, in which a great honor and skill embodied the image and displays the diversified works of Taras Shevchenko. Professional artists and craftsmen turned to Shevchenko topics in different types of decorative art of carpet making, weaving, embroidery, woodcarving, pottery, art glass, porcelain, decorative painting. Thus, participants learned about the sculptures of early twentieth century Peter Verne, Fedora Chyrvenka and Basil gestation, executed in wood and clay. Viewed work of prominent artists of second half of the twentieth century: Prymachenko, Alexander Saienko, Suhorskoho Andrew , John and Mary lytovchenko and others. A large number of works of craftsmen and artists performed for the celebration in 1964, the 150th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko. In their paper, the authors are often applied to the image of the poet, the lines in the poem "I am 13th passed", "Beside the Cottage", "The Mighty Dnieper Roars" and to the heroes of the poem "Catherine", "Hireling", "Haydamaky". Students realize that the history of each country remain forever names that proudly remembers and honors the humanity. They include the name and prominent poet, painter, sculptor, philosopher, ethnographer and folk prophet Titanium Ukrainian spirit - Taras Shevchenko.
