February 27th, 2014, IV International scientific conference "Human, society, state: legal aspects in the modern world" was held at the Law Institute. This event brought together famous scientists, young researchers and practitioners from 20 countries, 23 regions of Ukraine, 84 universities and 42 organizations and institutions from Ukraine and abroad.
During the opening ceremony guests and participants were welcomed by Volodymyr Kharchenko - Vice-Rector on scientific-research work of the National Aviation University , PhD, Professor; Iryna Zarubinska - Vice-Rector on International Affairs, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor; Irina Sopilko - Director of the Law Institute, PhD, Professor; Selami Güner - Director of LLC "Giunsel"; Hakan Yiilmaz - CEO «Turkish Airlines» in Ukraine; Natalia Pedchenko - Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian assembly of youth; delegates from the Jagiellonian University - Camille Mamak and Dominic Zajac. On the Plenary session the main scientists announced their reports, among them were: Mykhaylo Verbensky - Head of the State Research Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Professor; Mykola Halyantych - Deputy Director of the F. Burchak Scientific Research Institute of Private Law and Business, NALS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor; Oleksandr Kresin - Head of the Center of Comparative Law, Koretskiy Institute of State and Law, PhD, corresponding member of the International Academy of Comparative Law; Natalia Malysheva - Deputy Director of the International Center of the Space Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of NALS of Ukraine, Mykhaylo Smokovych - Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine, Secretary of the Plenum, PhD; Rostislav Kalyuzhniy - Deputy Director on science LI NAU, Doctor of Law, Professor. Participation in the discussion of the large number of Ukrainian and foreign scientists proves its relevance and ability of the scientific community to respond to the challenges of the modern world and to be involved in the reforms, taking place in Ukraine.
