February 26, 2014 at the Law Institute was conducted a methodical seminar on "The role of psychological services of NAU in improving the educational work of mentors academic groups". Purpose - to provide consultations mentors in carrying out educational work with students and the formation of psychological culture of future lawyers and teachers.
The seminar was attended by Director of the Law Institute Irina Sopilko, Deputy Director for the students Nina Trotsyuk, Psychologist of Department of Humanities and Social Communications Galina Lenio, senior tutor and mentor Helen Makeyeva and group menthors. In modern school psychological service is an important part of the educational process that ensures effective interaction of all participants: administration, teachers, students, creating a comfortable psychological conditions that will facilitate the development of individual abilities of students and their personal growth. During the workshop was discussed the role of psychological services in educational institutions, work experience psychological services at and individual psychological approach in educational work. Interesting and useful were Galina Lenio’s methodology for determining the psychological characteristics of a person. Mentors also received practical advice from a psychologist to conduct educational work and psychological support to students. These measures contribute to a better knowledge of the student's personality, avoid anti-social phenomena among youth.
