February 7, 2014 student of group PR -301 of Law Institute Maria Roschuk became a winner of the Program Study Tour to Poland.
Study Tours to Poland (STP) - means study visits to Poland for students, young professionals and professionals from Eastern Europe. Journeys of students are held under the motto "To Know Poland" and include: meeting with the leaders of the Polish public life, visits to government and public institutions, meetings with the university environment - guidance high school teachers and students, review of organizational and cultural life of high school visits to newspapers and magazines, on radio and on television, meeting with journalists, exploring the mechanisms of functioning of the Polish economy in a free market, presenting the experience of the Polish system transformation, presentation of the effects of the Polish transformation after 1989, the presentation of non-governmental organizations and their place in society, dialogue with the authorities, and action in favor of local communities, exploring the culture and history of Poland. Maria Roschuk will be able to visit Poland in May 2014 and personally join the discussion and resolution of current issues of concern to the world community, in particular the problems of democracy, civil society and the formation of law. Also, the student will be able to share experiences with representatives of Polish, Russian, Belarusian and Moldovan young generation and hear their ideas directly to address the pressing issues of our time.
