All Ukrainian Conference of Young Scientists and Students «Aero-2013. Air and Space Law» was held at the Law Institute on 22nd of November, 2013. The conference was attended by 288 participants from 30 universities from 15 regions of Ukraine and 3 foreign countries.
Law Institute of the National Aviation University makes great efforts to train professionals in the field of air and space law. This is confirmed by carrying out of the Scientific Conference on 22nd of November. The main goal of the Scientific Conference was, not only to discuss current issues of the formation and development of the air and space law, but also to arouse interest of our students and young scientists by this topic and to engage them in scientific discussions. Considering that this scientific event is held annually, the young people have a good opportunity to improve and continue their scientific researches according to the changes which taking place in society and the state. On the plenary session of the Conference participants heard reports of leading scientists and lawyers who shared their own thoughts on the prospects for the development of air and space law. With words of greeting to the participants addressed: Jaroslav Kozachok - Vice-rector on educational work NAU, PhD, Professor; Iryna Sopilko - Director of the Law Institute of NAU, PhD, Professor; Selami Güner - Director of the LLC "Gunsel"; Mykhailo Smokovych - Secretary of the Plenum of the Supreme Administrative Court, the judge, Ph.D.; Vladimir Sitko - Chairman of JSC “Ukraine Airlines International”, Natalia Chumak - Chief of Staff (Head of Secretariat) Court of Appeal of Kyiv region. With interest were presented informative report by Galyna Suslova - head of the ICAO Institute, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher School of Ukraine; Oleg Aksamentov - head of the Center of air law, Associate Professor, St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation; Sergiy Kuzin - Head of Department of preventing aviation accidents, analysis and statistics, inspector of aviation oversight of flight operation of the State Aviation service of Ukraine; Mykola Lysyi - senior Counselor of Justice, Deputy Prosecutor of the Central Region of Ukraine for the observance of law in the military sphere. The work of the six sessions of the conference were equally active. During the discussion was quite clear that the experts in the field of aviation, including practitioners and researchers, face very difficult and responsible tasks. The most important result of this scientific event became the recommendations and decisions that going to be implemented in the studying process of the specialists.
