The Role of Law in Human Life |

In order to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the UN Convention "On the Rights of the Child", on the 20th of November students of Law Institute Christine Mazur and Nina Shveda accompained by Ph.D., assistant professor of civil law and procedure Svetlana Vyshnovetska held various meetings on the role of law in the life of man for students of 10-11 grades of secondary school № 128 and № 182 of Kyiv and on 21th of November with students of 11 grade of Rusanovsky Lyceum and Lyceum № 208 Kyiv.During the event, high school students had the opportunity to learn more about the legal profession and learn about the role of law in human life. Particular attention was paid to the Department on the implementation of the national preventive mechanism established in 2012 with the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, one of whose tasks is monitoring the rights of children, systematic research and compilation of data or a cruel, degrading abuse, including violence in residential institutions where children are deprived or partially restricted liberty or under the care of the state. During the lively discussion the students have demonstrated their knowledge of the law and knowledge of children's rights.
