On December, 10th 2010 the All-Ukrainian legal tournament was held at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on the occasion of the Ukrainian Week of Law among students of higher education establishment from whole Ukraine which formed 50 teams.
The team of the Legal Institute of the National Aviation University took an active part in this event and consisted of the following fourth-year students: Voiteshenko Tetyana, Kravtsova Anastasiya, Antsut Elina, Kontsevyi Roman, Chaika Yana (team captain). The tournament was held on the principle of game “Brain-ring” in 6 stages. At the 1st stage each team received 25 questions and it had to give answers to this question during 1 minute in written form. In the result of the 1st stage the best 24 teams including the team of the Legal Institute of the National Aviation University were selected. Before the 2nd stage 8 groups were formed with 3 competitor teams in each group. At the 2nd stage of the tournament each team received the questions and it had to give answers to this question during 1 minute in oral form. During this stage the team of the Legal Institute competed with the teams of Odessa National Sea Academy and European University. In the result of the 2nd stage the best 16 teams were selected. Before the 3rd stage 4 groups were formed with 4 competitor teams in each group. During this stage the team of the Legal Institute competed with the teams of the University of Economy and Law “Krok”, Odessa National Sea Academy and Police Financial and Legal Academy. In the result of the 3rd stage the best 8 teams were selected and they continued their competition for victory. The team of the Legal Institute of the National Aviation University was recognized as one of the best 10 teams of the All-Ukrainian legal tournament and demonstrated a high level of knowledge in different fields of law, general erudition, gumption, considerable skills and logical thinking skills of team play.
