In the period from 13 May to 07 June 2024, 4th year students of the speciality 081 ‘Law’ of the Faculty of Law Daryna Yaroshchuk, Oleksandr Zeinalov, Olena Shcherbakova, Dariіa Matvieva and Maksym Lutskyi had the opportunity to undergo professional practice at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (hereinafter - NABU).
This opportunity was implemented under an agreement on internships for students of higher education institutions signed in February 2024, initiated by the Law School.
During the internship, the students got acquainted with the organisational structure and functions of the NABU, actively discussed with their supervisors pressing anti-corruption issues, expressed their opinions and suggestions on combating corruption in Ukraine, and learned more about the scope of activities of the NABU employees and the competitive conditions for employment as detectives.
By acquiring practical skills in performing tasks related to anti-corruption activities, the students demonstrated their theoretical knowledge gained at the NAU Law Faculty, as evidenced by the high marks given by the NABU detective supervisors.
Another milestone in the students' lives has once again confirmed that understanding of theoretical concepts is key to successful practice in any area of law.
