Recently, the students of higher education of academic group PR-101B with the assistance of Deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council, member of the Association of Foreign Policy of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law of NAU Halyna Yerko visited the Kyiv Regional Council.
During the event, future lawyers learned about the peculiarities of the activities of the Kyiv Regional Council under martial law, met with the deputy corps and heads of structural units, and also had the opportunity to attend a session meeting, at which a total of 94 issues were considered. In particular, the questions related to program documents of the region on increasing defense capability and ensuring civil protection of the population, creating new nature protection zones,the results of the work of prosecutors for 2023 in the investigation of war crimes, presented by the head of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Maxim Krym.
In the framework of personal meetings, the first-year students managed to communicate with the deputy head of the Kyiv Regional Council Tetyana Semenova, the head of the Kyiv Regional Council Standing Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources, Water Resources, Hunting, Liquidation of the Consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Accident and Other Emergency Situations, a lawyer, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine , Doctor of Law Roman Tytykalo, Deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council, Ukrainian Ironman, triathlon record holder, Paralympic swimming champion of Ukraine Oleg Ivanenko.
The management of the Faculty of Law of NAU sincerely thanks Acting Yaroslav Dobryanskyi, chairman of the Kyiv Regional Council for the given opportunity to provide a practical component of the educational process. After all, this cooperation is extremely important for the formation of practical skills in students, motivates and creates a stable idea about the activities of local self-government bodies.
