On May 21, 2024, at the invitation of Oksana Kiriyak, associate professor of the private law department of the Faculty of Law of the Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, law students of the Faculty of Law joined the third online round table "European integration of Ukrainian students".
The meeting took place within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University and the National Aviation University.
This event is organized within the Erasmus+ project "European integration of Ukrainian students" (2023-1-SK01-KA220-HED-000157553). The overall goal of the project is to identify problems, share experiences and impressions of how project partner universities have dealt with the situation, stabilized and improved processes to create a safe and inclusive environment for students from a war-torn country. Important in this aspect is the creation of a complex database of information (about the economic environment, social customs, legislative specificity, cultural uniqueness, etc.) and tools that will allow to attract Ukrainian students.
The conference was attended by scientific and pedagogical workers, students who studied under the Erasmus+ program in different countries. A student of the 4th year of the specialty 081 "Law" Olena Kovrygina shared her experience of studying under the Erasmus+ academic exchange program at Saarland University (Germany).
The participants discussed the problems of the European integration of Ukrainian students: economic and financial issues, housing, environment, customs, legislative specifics, culture, friends and impressions of studying.
The head of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law, Olena Makeieva, noted that international cooperation activities of this level have an important educational value, as they contribute to gaining experience in international cooperation and increasing the competence of both teachers and students.
