On April 22, 2024, the Acting Dean of the Law Faculty, Irina Sopilko, the Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Olena Makeieva, and the graduate student Oleg Boyko participated in the XV Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, titled "Legal Foundations of Legislative Activity: National and International Experience," dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Opening the event, the director of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Alexander Skrypnyuk, addressed representatives of the scientific and educational community, wishing them fruitful scientific results.
During the plenary session with comprehensive presentations, the Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Natalia Onishchenko, the Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, Alexander Bakumov, as well as legal scholars Stanislav Husarev, Semen Stetsenko, Natalia Parkhomenko, Svitlana Bobrovnyk, Oleksandr Batanov, and many others, delivered speeches.
The Acting Dean of the Law Faculty, Irina Sopilko, presented a report on the topic "Legislative Activities in the Field of Information Legal Relations," while the Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Olena Makeieva, proposed for discussion the topic "The Principle of Supremacy of Law in the Legislative Activities of State Authorities." Oleg Boyko, a second-year graduate student, presented on "Legal Regulation and Organization of Notarial Activities in Ukraine", thereby validating the topic of his dissertation research. Such events contribute to the development of legal science, strengthening scientific cooperation between leading research institutions and higher education institutions, and implementing the results of scientific research into legal practice.
