On March 5, 2024, Ihor Khubulov, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Law (PR-101B group), under the guidance of the associate professor of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law Liudmyla Shapenko, held a career counseling event for students of the senior classes of the Muzychi School of the I-III degrees about "Zero discrimination".
This event is organized on the occasion of the World Day of Zero Discrimination, an annual day celebrated on March 1 by the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations to promote equality before the law and in practice in all UN member states.
During the conversation with high school students, Ihor Khubulov emphasized the problematic issues of tolerant attitude towards each individual, the right of each person to a dignified life, regardless of race, nationality, religion, gender, age, belonging to one or another social group, sexual preferences, national or ethnic affiliation, appearance, profession, faith, political and other views and beliefs. The youth jointly discussed the main causes of discrimination, which are the most common in Ukrainian society, including disability, gender and sexual orientation, health status, as well as political views and financial status.
At the end of the meeting, future applicants received information about the activities of the structural units of the Faculty of Law of NAU; specialties for which higher education applicants are trained; admission conditions and features of training in the educational and professional programs "Legal Studies" and "Law Enforcement". And familiarization with the presented presentation materials made it possible to more fully understand the role and significance of work in the field of jurisprudence and law enforcement.
