On March 5, 2024, the Faculty of Law held a scientific methodological seminar with international participation on the topic «Innovative teaching methods theoretical and legal disciplines».
The goal is to discuss modern innovative methods of teaching law disciplines to improve the quality of education of education seekers.
With an introductory speech, the present addressed the acting dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Iryna Sopilko, who emphasized that in the conditions of higher education reform there is a need for modernization methods of teaching legal disciplines and rejection of outdated stereotypes in educational process. «Today, every teacher should choose innovative methods that meet the modern requirements of the educational services market, must be combined theory and practice during the teaching of educational disciplines of the legal direction», Ms. Iryna noted.

With representatives of the scientific community of higher education institutions throughout Ukraine discussed issues: innovations in the teaching of theoretical and legal disciplines; features teaching philosophy, sociology and theory of law; foreign experience of teaching theoretical legal and historical-legal disciplines; prospects for the development of interactive teaching law; formation of legal thinking of future lawyers; a combination theories and practices during the teaching of legal disciplines; use of tools artificial intelligence in education.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Olena Makeіeva thanked those present for their participation in at the cathedral event, emphasizing: «Quality legal education is the key to our success graduates, and in order for the students to learn the material, it is necessary to form in them interest in academic disciplines. Therefore, every teacher in the educational process must use modern innovative methods that match the character and speed social changes in society, high European standards of training competitive specialists of the innovative type».
