On November 30 - December 1, 2023, the German-Ukrainian Symposium on the occasion of World Data Protection Day "Defending Data, Connecting Countries - Building Cyber Resilience Together" was held in Passau, Germany.
The event was held under the auspices of PICAIS, which is the University of Passau's central platform for academic excellence and interdisciplinary research.
On the second day of the meeting, future lawyers from two higher education institutions - the National Aviation University and Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University - had the opportunity to demonstrate their digitalization achievements.
The National Aviation University was represented at the symposium by 4th year student of the Faculty of Law Yuliia Ryabokon, who is studying within the English-language project in the specialty 081 "Law". The student made a presentation on "State in Smartphone: Emerging Trends and Possible Data Infringements".
The German side was represented by: 1) Sebastian Kasper, a PhD candidate at the University of Passau (report on "Smart City"), and 2) Marvin Gülker, a PhD candidate at the University of Passau (presentation on Digital Public Assets).
Last semester, Yuliia was an exchange student at the Europa - Institut of Saarland University as part of the Erasmus+ program.
