At the Institute of Law in the educational process of a lot of attention is paid to the combination of theoretical knowledge with practical application of them. Thus, as part of the discipline "Penal Law" Students 4 and 5 year 24 May 2013, accompanied by the teachers of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure Inna Roshchina and Anna Potylchak visited the Museum of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine.
Introducing students to the history of the national penitentiary service was part of the spiritual and pastoral work with future lawyers pursued by the Synod of the UOC department, and with the aim of shaping their legal holistic worldview. Head of the Museum of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine Valeriy Litovchenko detail told the students about the history of the museum which presents the 34 exposure, reflecting the stages in the history of the State Penitentiary Service, which are housed in four halls. Such trips help to increase the level of legal awareness and legal culture of the future lawyers and allowed to form a highly professional specialists.
