On November 24, 2023, Aleksandr Kripak, the head of the legal department of the international company Bayer and a 2008 graduate of the Institute of Air and Space Law of NAU, led a discussion for first-year Bachelor's students majoring in Law and Law Enforcement at the Law Faculty. The event was organized as part of the courses “History of the Ukrainian State and Law” and “History of Law Enforcement Agencies” with the facilitation of Svitlana Holovko, Associate Professor at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law.
The future professionals listened with keen interest about Mr. Kripak’s experiences studying at the NAU Institute of Air and Space Law and his professional journey from a lawyer’s assistant to leading the legal department of a world-class multinational corporation. Mr. Kripak emphasized the importance of responsibly studying core disciplines such as “Theory of State and Law”, “History of Ukrainian State and Law”, “Administrative Law”, “Civil Law”, “Criminal Law”, and “International Law”. He also stressed the necessity of mastering one or more foreign languages to achieve professional success in today’s world. Additionally, Mr. Kripak provided insights into “Bayer”, a company operating in healthcare and agriculture that adheres to the principles of sustainable development and maintains high ethical and social responsibility standards. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Kripak addressed questions from the students in attendance, offering valuable advice regarding future employment. He stated that only those unwilling to continue learning and developing themselves would fail to attain success in life.
