On September 29, 2023, the Head of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law Olga Husar organized a meeting with the Director of YURKO UA LLC Georgii Menshikov for students majoring in 081 "Law" and 262 "Law Enforcement" at the School of Law.
During the legal lecture on "Military Administrative Offenses under the Legislation of Ukraine - Legal Regulation and Implementation Experience", the practicing lawyer focused students' attention on the statistical data indicating an increase in military administrative offenses due to the general mobilization in the country and the fact that many military personnel are in a state of psychological stress. "At the same time, the progressive increase in the number of military torts is not the only problem. A lot of questions and contradictions arise in court practice regarding the qualification of this type of offense and the correct execution of procedural materials, which is due to the imperfection of the legal definition of administrative torts," the speaker noted.
Motivating the students to study and obtain legal education, Georgiy Menshikov opened another spectrum of realization of young lawyers in the future - the organization of a legal business. Using his own example, presenting his modern platform YURKO UA, which optimizes the procedure for finding clients for law firms, he revealed the mechanisms for creating a legal ecosystem for the provision of services and explained how networking is carried out in legal practice.
The guest noted that today the national judicial practice and legislation are imperfect, and therefore the state needs talented professionals who could gain experience through the mechanism of training camps for lawyers as a form of internship. Legal consulting requires preliminary training and competent performers. In synergy with the theoretical and legal knowledge, communication skills and public speaking skills, a future lawyer can effectively communicate, persuade and influence others, which is extremely important in legal professional activities.
The meeting with the students and representatives of the faculty administration resulted in a preliminary agreement to conclude a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Aviation University and Jurco UA LLC, which will allow for the completion of internships by students, as well as other joint activities in the field of science, education and human rights.
