On September 29, 2023, as part of the cooperation agreement for students of the Faculty of Law, a training was held by the Head of the International Legal Communication Research Center, Vice-Rector’s Proxy for International Cooperation at the University of Warsaw, PhD with habilitation (law and applied linguistics), lawyer Joanna Osiejewicz on the topic “Transference of legal knowledge with non-specialized audiences”.
The speaker outlined the concepts, features and directions of organizing work with specialists and non-specialists in the field of law. Advanced EU methods were revealed, practical tips for working with non-specialists, features of interviewing witnesses, building communication models for effective communication with clients for the purpose of providing high-quality legal services were provided.
In addition, students of the English-speaking groups of the Faculty of Law had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the theoretical achievements of practicing lawyers and the practical experience of scientists, such as: a lawyer, doctor of law, academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, professor of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service Yana Trynova “Dangerous knowledge phenomenon: dilemma of modern science (bioethical view)”, Ph.D., associate professor of the Department of Health Sciences of the S.H.E.I “Uzhgorod National University” Olena Korolchuk “Health Protection Issues in Modern Realities”, PhD in pedagogy, associate professor, head of the department of customs and economic security of the Research Institute of Financial policy, the State Tax University Svitlana Kapitanets “Development of the communication system of the state customs service in Ukraine in indeterminate conditions” and others
