On 20 June 2023, the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law organised a meeting for 1-2 year students with attorney Tetiana Rabko.
Tetyana Rabko is a lecturer at the UNBA Higher School of Advocacy, a member of the All-Ukrainian Advocacy Assistance, a member of the UNBA Committee on Electronic Justice and Cybersecurity of Advocacy, a regional representative of the UNBA Youth Committee - UNBA NextGen in Donetsk region, a member of the UNBA Committee on Gender Policy, and an advisor to MBS LLC.
During the masterclass, the invited guest spoke about the benefits of e-justice, which is increasingly spreading in the judicial system of Ukraine, including: saving material costs of courts in connection with the costs of sending documents to litigants and maintaining human resources of litigants; filing claims and other documents with the court in electronic form using an electronic signature; the possibility of providing online consultations and holding online meetings; accessibility and openness of justice, and many others. In each case, the speaker provided interesting examples from the practice of law.
Summing up the meeting, Ms. Tetyana stressed that the transition from an outdated level of judicial proceedings to electronic ones not only allows replacing a large number of paper documents and facilitating citizens' access to justice, but also contributes to making justice more transparent and less corrupt.
Thanks to meetings with leading Ukrainian attorneys, students of the Law Faculty of the National Aviation University have every opportunity to develop professionally as future members of the national legal community.
