In the course of writing a term paper on the discipline "Actual problems of policing", applicants for the master's level of higher education of the PR-102Mz group of correspondence form of study in the specialty 262 "Law Enforcement" of the Faculty of Law, together with the assistant of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure Diana Maistro, during May-June 2023, took an online course "Academic Integrity at the University" on the VUM-online platform.
Academic integrity is the basis of the quality of education. Ukrainian higher education is changing and an important condition for successful development is the implementation of the principles of academic integrity in learning, teaching and research.
In order for every student, teacher, scientist, administrator and head of a higher education institution to familiarize themselves with and apply the principles of academic integrity in their activities, this online course has been developed, as a result of which all participants received certificates.
After completing the online course, higher education students have mastered: what is academic integrity; what is plagiarism; how to avoid plagiarism (academic writing); what are the prerequisites for creating a virtuous environment at the university (university autonomy); how to create a virtuous environment at the university.
The course was developed by NaUKMA-online and NGO "ELIBUKR" with the support of the Renaissance Foundation. The course load corresponds to 0.1 ECTS credits.
