On May 18, 2023, within the framework of the VI International Youth Scientific Legal Forum dedicated to the Day of Science, a sectional meeting "Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Criminology" was held at the Faculty of Law.
The reports were made by postgraduate students of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure. Oleksiy Kovtun made a report on the topic "General characteristics of the legal elements of crimes provided for in the dispositions of Art. 180 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine" and Oleg Adamenko made a report on the topic "Combating domestic violence in Ukraine (international legal aspect). Also, higher education students of specialty 262 "Law Enforcement" Victoria Komanetska (report topic: "Issues on ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of a person during investigative (inquiry) actions"), Sofia Makzok (report topic: "Psychological features of interrogation in a conflict situation"), Kristina Shilova (report topic: "Search: unity and struggle of opposites") presented their scientific research. The reports were made by postgraduate students of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure. At the end of the speeches, a lively discussion arose, which was attended by both teachers of the department and students of higher education of the Faculty of Law.
The combination of study with scientific work contributes to the training of highly qualified specialists who are freely oriented not only in the existing legislation and practice of its application, but also in the prospects for its further development and perfection.
